“Chopping wood was tough but fun. My experiences taught me to be grateful for technology while at the same time allowing me to develop even more appreciation for non-technological treasures like deep connections, love, and nature.”

Story

I was raised in China. My parents were entrepreneurs, busy but generous, letting me play on the internet since grade two (although back then I was more interested in finding cartoon wallpaper).

At age 17, I moved to Canada. During my first winter break there, I went in a stranger's car into the woods 250 miles away where I ended up working at an ecolodge living a “primitive” life for a month. Chopping wood was tough but fun. My experiences taught me to be grateful for technology while at the same time allowing me to develop even more appreciation for non-technological treasures like deep connections, love, and nature.

After working with several clients on digital initiatives as a consultant, I started FUUDY. Despite having a great team and initial traction, we struggled to find a scalable model. At that time, I realized that a great vision and potential couldn't change the world without making it actual.

These years have carved versatility into me; I lived in two very different and sometimes contradictory cultures, working with both corporate executives and startup founders. Managing successfully across diverse environments became my strength. By naturally switching perspectives and mindsets, I am able to bridge between people of different backgrounds, and find solutions to problems by combining ideas from seemingly unrelated fields.

As a founder, consultant, and VC, I have been privileged to work with and serve many great founders and business leaders. Being part of the Eudemian team, I am excited to extend the impact of great founders building future-defining companies on a global scale.
